YouTube has released a new feature, which will not only identify and remove abusive comments from the platform but will also issue a warning to the commenting account.

At the same time, apart from the video, many times people use spam comments and abusive words in the comment section of the video streaming platform even during live chat. Many times people use derogatory language in comments for You Tubers. YouTube has taken strict action against those who use such spam comments and derogatory language. YouTube has released a new feature, which will not only identify and remove abusive comments from the platform but also issue a warning to the commenting account. Let’s know-how.
YouTube Will Block Such People
YouTube has introduced a “Comment removal warnings” feature to deal with people who use abusive and profanity in the comment section. Under this feature, all those comments will be removed, which were violating the guidelines of the platform. Along with this, a warning will also be issued to those users.
According to YouTube’s official support page, YouTube has improved its Automated Detection system to identify and remove spam comments. Along with improving spam detection in the comments section, the company also informed us that they have removed 1.1 billion spam comments in the first half of 2022.
Even after a warning, if someone continues to use profanity in comments, then the ability to comment from his/her account will be banned for 24 hours. Let us tell you, this warning and “Comment removal warnings” feature will be available only in the English language, but in the coming few months, other languages will also become part of this warning.
1.7 Million Indian Videos Blocked
Last month, YouTube’s third quarter enforcement report came out, in which it was learned that YouTube has globally removed 56 lakh videos from its platform, of which 17 lakh videos were from Indian creators. The company said that all these videos violated YouTube’s guidelines. Apart from this, comments have also been deleted from the platform.
