Whatsapp Update: Whatsapp Will Stop Working On 49 Phones From December 31!

Instant messaging service WhatsApp ends support for several phones every year, and this year is no exception. As 2022 draws to a close, WhatsApp is also discontinuing support for several iPhone and Android phones.

While this should be concerning, most users need not be concerned as the messaging platform is only discontinuing support for devices with older operating systems.

Not A Problem For Some Users

WhatsApp will stop supporting around 49 handsets from brands like Apple and Samsung on December 31, as first reported by GizChina.

It should be emphasized that most of the phones on the list are very old, and it is likely that a small number of people use them.

Some of them are so old that no one might be using the phone. This only indicates that most smartphone users should not be worried about the support for WhatsApp. Here is a list of 49 smartphones that will not be able to run WhatsApp after December 31:
