Tirthan Valley
Tirthan Valley, popularly known as the best-kept secret of Himachal Pradesh, is an ideal getaway spot, perched at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level and blessed with a wealth of natural treasures. It’s the ideal place to be if you’re tired of the hustle and bustle of city life, which is filled with noise and pollution.
The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), which covers an area of 1100 square kilometers and is named after the pristine Tirthan River, is a newly recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spiti Valley

Parashar Lake
The mystical Prashar Lake can be found amongst the scenic and spiritual valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The lake, located near Mandi, is a holy destination nestled between the soaring, snow-capped mountains of Kullu’s Dhauladhar Ranges. On the banks, a three-story temple stands tall.
This thirteenth-century pagoda is dedicated to the Rishi, Prashar. The lake has mythological significance dating back to the time of the Pandavas. The mystery of a floating island on the water, mesmerizing vistas, and serene tranquility echo in the lake’s surroundings.
Karsog Valley
Karsog is tucked away in the folds of the Himalayas and seems like a completely different region of Himachal Pradesh. One of the less unexplored places in Himachal Pradesh, Karsog valley does have some important significance when it comes to spirituality.
Karsog has a long history; the name is derived from the words kar and shok, which mean “regular mourning.” According to the Mahabharata tale, the village was terrorized by a rakshasa who ate a villager every day, resulting in regular mourning. During the Pandavas’ exile, however, Bhima rescued the village from the rakshasa by offering himself.
Chitkul
Chitkul’s organic and unadulterated atmosphere makes it a common destination for backpackers, campers, hikers, and explorers. The people of the village are modest and friendly, and they host a large number of visitors throughout the year. Thus, this is one of the visited places in Himachal Pradesh that you must visit on your next trip to Himachal.
