On the other hand, ‘Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna’ have both started innumerable desi wedding ceremonies, and ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ is among ‘DDLJ’s’ hidden treasures in my perception. The soundtrack also featured the hits Mere Khwabon Mein,’ ‘Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane,’ ‘Ho Gaya Hai Tujhko,’ and ‘Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main’ which are still worth listening to.
The Dialogues
‘Jaa Simran Jaa, apni Zindagi’ and ‘Bade bade deshon mein, aisi chhoti chotti baatein hoti rehti hai Senorita’ These are merely a few of the many one-liners that our minds have memorized over the decades.
‘Agar ye tujhe pyaar karti hai toh ye palatke dekhegi.. palat.. Palat’. Who can underestimate these iconic dialogues? The script is the film’s essence, and the dialogues are how that soul expresses itself and binds with the viewer. Javed Siddiqui’s dialogues in DDLJ not only hooked up with the fans but also remained in their minds for a long time.

The Epic Train Scene
No 90s Bollywood film is complete without a climax and action-packed ending! When their secret relationship is revealed, all hell erupts and Raj is confronted by Simran’s threatening and cold-hearted father, played by the late iconic actor Amrish Puri!
The train scene was recreated by Shahrukh himself in the blockbuster massive hit, Chennai Express, starring Deepika Padukone! But still, nothing comes close to the miracle of DDLJ!
