Ageing is simply another synonym for living, she told People. And what you decide to do with it after that is entirely up to you. I’m taking much better care of myself, therefore I feel considerably better than I did when I was in my twenties. I had to give up booze in my 30s. I was unable to continue. With alcohol in my system, I was unable to live the life I desired. And as I become older, I realise I need to eat differently to support myself. My 25-year-old self thought she didn’t need to do anything, so I wish I could go back and tell her, “Oh honey, honey, there’s a whole other world out there and it tastes like an avocado.”
Following a pregnancy, Anne Hathaway urged women to “let their bodies be” rather than immediately getting back in shape.
