South superstar Chiranjeevi has announced that his son, actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are expecting their first child. Taking to Twitter on Monday, Chiranjeevi shared a post. It read, “With the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji we are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love & gratitude Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela Shobana and Anil Kamineni.”

Ram Charan’s work front
Ram Charan reunited with his Magadheera director SS Rajamouli for this year’s mega-blockbuster RRR in which he co-stars with Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. He also appeared with father Chiranjeevi in Acharya.
Ram Charan recently took to Twitter to announce his next project with director Buchi Babu Sana. Tipped to be a sports drama, the film will see Ram collaborate with the director for the first time. Sharing the news about the yet-untitled film, Ram said he’s excited. “Excited about this! Looking forward to working with @BuchiBabuSana & the entire team (sic).” Ram had tweeted.
As per a statement, the project will be a pan-Indian film as it will be made in multiple languages. To be jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas, the project is slated to go on the floors later this month.
Ram Charan is currently shooting for his next film with filmmaker Shankar. Dubbed RC 15, the makers recently revealed SJ Suryah has been roped in for a crucial role. He took to Twitter to welcome Suryah on board. The project also stars Kiara Advani and marks Ram’s maiden collaboration with Shankar.
