IMDb unveiled its list of the Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2023 on Wednesday, a distinctive compilation determined by the actual page views of over 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan, securing the top spot, graced two blockbusters (Pathaan and Jawan), garnering unparalleled global fan interest in 2023.

For the second consecutive year, Alia Bhatt secured the second position, starring in two major releases in 2023, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” and “Heart of Stone.” Alia, who made her Met Gala debut earlier in the year, celebrated her 2022 film “RRR,” which clinched an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

Nayanthara marked her Hindi film debut in “Jawan” with Shah Rukh Khan (No. 1), while Deepika Padukone (No. 3) also shared the screen with Shah Rukh in “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”
Tamannaah Bhatia (No. 6) worked across regions, languages, and platforms, featuring in streaming films such as “Lust Stories 2,” “Jee Karda,” and “Aakhri Sach,” as well as making appearances in theatrical releases like “Bholaa Shankar.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan (No. 7) made her OTT debut with “Jaane Jaan,” and her movie “The Buckingham Murders” had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
Vijay Sethupathi (No. 10) made two debuts this year: his first Hindi film, “Jawan,” and his inaugural Indian web series, “Farzi.”
