Bollywood actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram have officially confirmed their impending wedding, set to take place on November 29 in Imphal, Manipur. The couple shared the news on their Instagram accounts, drawing a parallel to the Mahabharata, where Arjuna married the Manipuri warrior princess Chitrangada.
In a joint statement, Randeep and Lin expressed their joy at sharing the news of their upcoming marriage and extended an invitation to their followers to join them in celebrating the union of their diverse cultures. Following the ceremony in Imphal, the couple plans to host a reception in Mumbai.
The wedding is rumored to have a mythological theme, inspired by the Mahabharata connection, as reported earlier by Hindustan Times. Randeep, known for his preference for privacy, has chosen Manipur as the wedding destination to avoid excessive media attention. Additionally, the decision aligns with his desire to commence this new chapter of life in a place significant to Lin.
Lin Laishram, who made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with a cameo in “Om Shanti Om,” has been part of notable films such as “Mary Kom” (2014), “Umrika” (2015), “Rangoon” (2017), “Qaidi Band” (2017), and “Axone” (2019).
On the professional front, Randeep Hooda is gearing up for his role in the film “Swatantra Veer Savarkar,” a biopic on freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Co-directed and co-written by Randeep Hooda, the film is a collaborative effort of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Randeep Hooda Films, Legend Studios, and Avak Films.
