Megastar Ram Charan will turn 38 years old tomorrow (March 27).
On the occasion of his birthday, one of his films, Orange, was rereleased in theatres for all of his admirers.
When the international star’s debut film came out 13 years ago, fans were seen lining up with the same enthusiasm. Orange is being shown in the Kinnera Theatre, Sangam Theatre, and Sri Narasimha Theatre in Vizag.
Profits from the re-release will go to the Jana Sena Fund Drive.
The female leads in Orange, which was directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Nagababu Konidela, were played by Genelia D’Souza and Shazhan Padamsee. The soundtrack was created by Harris Jayraj.
Ram Charan also celebrated his early birthday while filming the scenes for his forthcoming film RC-15. Together with his co-star Kiara Advani, director S. Shankar, and choreographer Prabhu Deva, the actor celebrated his birthday.
Ram Charan’s Orange’s re-release was initially viewed with suspicion. Many supporters claimed that it would be better to distribute Charan’s earlier movies, which were genuine box office successes. Orange does have chart-topping music, but it bombed at the box office during its initial release, and fans feared the same thing would happen when it was re-released.
To everyone’s surprise, the film performed remarkably well when it was re-released in theatres. The bulk of Orange’s neighbourhoods have experienced incredibly high occupancy rates, and the majority of the events are at capacity. The team organised and carried out the re-release effectively. They initially only supplied a few programmes for screening, but as demand developed, they steadily expanded the quantity of shows. Ram Charan and Genelia played the lead roles in Orange, which Bommarillu Bhaskar directed. The movie’s 2010 release was greeted with high expectations because it was Charan’s sequel to the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Magadheera. It was created by Naga Babu.
