She has a brother Rahul Bhatt and two Satuli sisters Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. Alia Bhatt is a film actress. She has two cousins, Mohit Suri who is a film director, and Emraan Hashmi who is a film actor.
Career Journey
Pooja Bhatt started her career at the age of 17 with the TV movie Daddy. This TV movie was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The background of this drama was based on the relationship between an alcoholic father and his daughter. Anupam Kher played the role of her father in this film.
Pooja Bhatt first got recognition from the film Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. The film was a remake of the Oscar-winning film. Pooja was also awarded the Filmfare Best Actress Award for this film. She acted in many superhit films during his film career in Hindi cinema, which include films like Sadak, Junoon, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Ai, Bodyguard, and Chahat Anger.
