Elon Musk, the world’s second richest industrialist, took command of Twitter this year, but now he has announced to leave the post of CEO of Twitter. Early in the morning of December 21, Musk tweeted about leaving the post of CEO of Twitter, though as usual Musk has put a twist on it as well. Elon Musk wrote that he is looking for a new CEO for Twitter. As soon as someone finds them, I will leave this position and I will just run the software and engineering service.
The Poll Was a Flop
Elon Musk got a poll done on Twitter on 19 December. The poll says “people whether he should leave the post of CEO of Twitter”. People reacted fiercely to this poll. Answering yes, 58 percent of users supported his resignation as CEO of Twitter. While only 42 percent of the users said that they continued to handle the responsibility of Twitter. The result of the poll was not in favor of Musk. After seeing the result of this poll, now Musk has announced to leave the post of CEO of Twitter. However, he has not removed the veil from the fact that who will take over the responsibility of the CEO post.
Significantly, ever since Elon Musk took over the responsibility of Twitter, there are constant changes in this social media platform. He said that changes were made regarding the blue subscription. He banned the Twitter accounts of journalists and also his rivals. According to a CNBC report, Elon Musk is already looking for a new CEO for Twitter in the polls.
