After making a flurry of changes on Twitter in the last few days, the CEO of this company, Elon Musk, has started a poll on the microblogging website, in which users have been asked several questions regarding Twitter!
Musk asked in a tweet, “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will follow the results of this poll.” In another tweet, he said, “Going forward there will be voting for major policy changes. I apologize It will not happen again.”
On Sunday, it was tweeted by Twitter Supports that “We believe that many of our users are active on other social media platforms. However, we will no longer allow free promotion of certain social media platforms on Twitter.”
It said that we will remove other social media platforms and accounts created to promote content, including Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribal, Nostra, and Post. In addition, Twitter said that it still allows cross-posting of content from any social media platform.
Musk Has Been Criticized For Policy Changes

Musk has faced some criticism for making major policy changes in Twitter’s rules and it comes at a time on the platform.
On Friday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he was “deeply troubled” by Elon Musk’s suspension of journalists from Twitter, calling it a dangerous move. He said that the voices of the media should not be silenced on the platform claiming freedom of expression. The UN spokesman said the move comes at a time when journalists around the world face censorship, physical threats, and worse.
