The Khichdi cast is back, and this time they are travelling to Paanthukistan on a covert mission.
This Diwali, more than just Tiger will rule the movie theatres. The Khichdi gang will hit theatres with a new laugh riot a week after the premiere of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif movie. The popular Gujarati family makes a comeback in the Khichdi 2 operation Paanthukistan trailer as they embark on a covert operation in exchange for 5 crore.
What’s in the teaser for Khichdi 2?
The Khichdi teaser begins with breathtaking shots of gorgeous settings and a narration declaring that every task is initially unachievable. Some missions are eventually fulfilled by Tiger, while others are taken up by Pathan. The objective that the Khichdi cast has been asked to complete for 5 crore is subsequently revealed to the viewers. Hansa, played by Supriya Pathak, is already sick of being urged to ‘work’ on the assignment. While Rajeev Mehta’s Praful and Anang Desai’s Babuji criticise her for only spending money and not earning any of it, she and Praful defend how she only used the air conditioner once a year (by never turning it off again until December).
The case they have to solve then arises as Kirti Kulhari reports Himanshu missing. Soon later, the complete Khichdi cast is spotted in a private plane being flown by none other than Pratik Gandhi. Due to their foolish activities, they hit him as he becomes enraged mid-air. A little while later, they are seen falling down via parachutes, providing a possible explanation for what may have happened to the plane. And Jayshree, played by Vandana Pathak, is chatting to someone in midair about the purpose of their journey to Paanthukistan. In the teaser, Jamnadas Majethia is also visible as Himanshu.

On November 17, Khichdi 2 will debut in theatres all around the world. The action-comedy is produced by Jamnadas Majethia and distributed by Hatsoff Productions. Aatish Kapadia wrote and directed it. 13 years after the release of Khichdi: The Movie in 2010, the Khichdi team comes returning with a new movie for the second time.
