Ahead of the premiere of their movie The Great Indian Family, Manushi Chillar and Vicky Kaushal appeared on the most recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati as guests.
Manushi Chillar, a former Miss World and actor, will appear alongside Vicky Kaushal in The Great Indian Family. She discussed the last question on Kaun Banega Crorepati, which gave her the 2017 beauty contest victory. She explained her reasoning for saying that a mother ought to be entitled to the highest pay on the Miss World stage. She continued by saying that she was so overcome with emotion that even if she had been asked to choose the president of India, she would have said her mother.

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi both sat in the hot seat. Amitabh Bachchan, the host, questioned her about the last question that gave her the victory as the two responded to one question after another with the aid of a few lifelines. ‘Which profession should receive the highest wage in the world?’ was the question posed to her during the final round.
Manushi began her response to the query on KBC by saying, “I said, in the world, only a mother must have the greatest income in any field. The work you do earns you a lot of admiration and love. It’s not only about the money; mothers should also be given more respect and social position.

Manushi stated that she was one of the top five and was looking around the audience for her family when she finally saw her mother. “My mother had given me a lot of encouragement to enter the pageant, so perhaps I became more emotional and adopted her name. Even if they had asked me who the president of India was, I would have said my mother’s name, according to Shayad us waqt koi mujhse ye bhi puchta ki India ka president kaun hai to main apni ma hi bolti. For me, it was a really emotional time,” she remarked.
Manushi made her Bollywood debut in the 2022 film Samrat Prithviraj, which starred Akshay Kumar and was released after she won the Miss World title in 2017. In the movie, she portrayed Princess Sanyogita. Her second movie, The Great Indian Family, is scheduled to open in theatres on September 22. She has a couple more projects coming up, including Operation Valentine, Tehran, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay and Tiger Shroff.
