According to a new report, the world’s largest tech company Apple is also preparing its foldable device.

May launch its first foldable iPad in 2025 instead of iPhone. According to Apple Insider, the upcoming iPhone Fold will support a USB-C port and MagSafe. Along with this, Touch ID or Apple Face ID can also be supported for safety. However, Apple has not yet shared any official information on this.

Apple is working with LG to develop an ultra-thin cover glass that could be used on the company’s foldable products. Apart from this, Apple will continue to use its flagship chip in the foldable device. Apple designs its custom chips for the iPhone and iPad. The company can also bring the upcoming device with the support of 5G connectivity.

Apple’s foldable iPhone will come in 2025

Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), claimed that Apple’s foldable iPhone may not launch before 2025. Apple is currently in talks with a supplier about a 20-inch foldable display. Apart from the iPad, Apple is also planning to work on a foldable MacBook. This MacBook model can be launched by 2026 or 2027.

Talking about the special specification found in Apple’s foldable device, it can be found to see WQD + flexible OLED display with an 8-inch Samsung display. It has also been reported that the Cupertino tech major may use Silver Nanowire Touch solution for the screen of the foldable iPhone to enhance the experience of Samsung’s Y-Octa display and allow multiple folds. Nanowire technology is currently being used for the HomePod.
