Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), claimed that Apple’s foldable iPhone may not launch before 2025. Apple is currently in talks with a supplier about a 20-inch foldable display. Apart from the iPad, Apple is also planning to work on a foldable MacBook. This MacBook model can be launched by 2026 or 2027.

Talking about the special specification found in Apple’s foldable device, it can be found to see WQD + flexible OLED display with an 8-inch Samsung display. It has also been reported that the Cupertino tech major may use Silver Nanowire Touch solution for the screen of the foldable iPhone to enhance the experience of Samsung’s Y-Octa display and allow multiple folds. Nanowire technology is currently being used for the HomePod.
