“We Couldn’t Handle The Pressure”- Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma said, “Today was a very disappointing day. We batted well in the last over. We couldn’t bowl better. It was purely a matter of bearing the pressure in the knockout matches. All the players have played enough cricket to understand this situation. Many players have played pressure matches during IPL. We looked under pressure while bowling. Credit has to be given to their openers (Jos Buttler and Alex Hales). Both batted brilliantly. I think the swing was coming from the first over but we didn’t bowl in the right direction. We took the pressure off in the match against Pakistan. Something similar happened in Bangladesh too, but today we could not do it.”
