On this day, Hindu married women keep fast from sunrise till moonrise and and offer special prayers to Goddess Parvati for the longevity of their husbands. Mouni Roy is celebrating her first Karwa Chauth after her marriage. She recently flooded her Instagram feed with a series of images featuring her and her beautiful henna hand art. “Firsts are always special… Happy Karwa Chauth beauties,” the Brahmastra actor captioned her post.

One such couple, considered by fans to be among the most glamorous and popular celeb pairs, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, also celebrated their first Karva Chauth on Thursday night. After getting married last December, they indeed made their first celebration quite memorable. For Karwa Chauth 2022, Natasha embraced a traditional look but with a whiff of contemporary appeal. Taking to Instagram, Mouni dropped a string of images from her Karwa Chauth celebrations with her husband Suraj Nambiar. In one of the images, she is seen looking through a chhalani (sieve) at Suraj. In another picture, Suraj is seen giving a peck on Mouni’s cheeks.

For the special occasion, Mouni wore a golden saree. She accentuated her look with jhumkis and red-colored bangles. Her Karwa Chauth look was completed with subtle makeup and hair tied in a bun.
