In a second encounter of the season against Delhi Capitals, Jasprit Bumrah had bowled a match-winning spell of 4/14 in his 4-over quota. He picked up prime wickets for the skipper Shreyas Iyer, and Marcus Stoinis and scratched the stumps of Shikhar Dhawan. Batting first, Mumbai Indians scored 200/5 on the board, and when DC came to chase, they got rattled on 143/8, and MI won the game by 57 runs.

Rajasthan Royals witnessed the horrific defeat against Mumbai Indians in the league phase of IPL 2020. Mumbai opted to bat first against the mediocre bowling of the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians posted a massive score of 193/4 with the help of SKY’s knock of 79(47). But Rajasthan couldn’t get a chance of even a fightback, as Jasprit Bumrah reaped through their hatting line-up and clinched up a 4-wicket haul by leaking just 20 runs in the spell. And in the end, delivered a fantastic win for his team by 57 runs.
#3. 3/15 MI vs PBKS in 2018

Mumbai and Punjab were brawling in their second match of the league phase. This was a close encounter as Mumbai posted 186/5 on the board. But unexpectedly, Punjab Kings made a superb start to their innings as their skipper KL Rahul led from the front with 94(60), but Jasprit bowled the fine knock of 3/15 and restricted Punjab to 183/5 in 20 overs. He also became a man of the match and made the team victorious in the encounter.
#4. 3/7 MI vs KKR in 2017

Jasprit Bumrah had bowled a phonetic spell of 3/7 against Kolkata Knight Riders in a nail-biting Qualifier No. 2. Gautam Gambhir leading KKR had bowled out on a poor 107/10. Where Bumrah takes the key wickets of Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, and Suryakumar Yadav, he was the guy along with Karn Sharma who restricted the line-up of Kolkata Knight Riders at a mediocre total and later chased down it with 6 wickets to spare in the hands. Though Karn got a player of the match award for his 4/16, Bumrah broke the crucial partnerships which restricted KKR.
#5. 2/26 MI vs RPS in 2017

Jasprit Bumrah contributed crucial overs for Mumbai Indians in the Grand finale of 2017 against Steve Smith leading Rising Pune Supergiants. Though the numbers in the spell are not so impressive, it holds the nerve for Mumbai Indians at the highly crucial stages of the match. The two crucial wickets of MS Dhoni and Rahul Tripathi were included in this spell of Bumrah and delivered the win for MI.
