Vijay Antony, a Tamil actor and composer, released his first statement since the passing of Meera, his 16-year-old daughter, on Thursday. On Tuesday, her body was discovered at her home in Chennai. Allegedly, Meera committed suicide. Vijay shared his painful remark on X (formerly known as Twitter) the day after cremating his daughter.
After his daughter passed away earlier this week, Vijay Antony sent a statement via Twitter.

Vijay Antony reportedly said, “All you good-hearted people, my daughter Meera is very loving and brave,” according to a report by The Indian Express. She has now moved on to a more pleasant location free from caste, religion, wealth, envy, suffering, poverty, and retaliation. She and I are still talking.
“I have died along with her,” it continued. I’ve recently begun spending time with her. Any nice deeds I carry out going forth on her behalf will be started by her.
On September 19, around 3 a.m., Vijay Antony’s daughter was reportedly discovered dead in her room. She was taken by the actor and composer of the music to a neighbouring private hospital, where she was immediately pronounced dead.
Meera Mira, who is the daughter of Vijay Antony, attended a private school in Chennai. She apparently served as the head of the cultural secretary and was a star student in school. The abrupt passing of Meera shocked those who knew her, and many in the Tamil cinema community sent their sympathies to Vijay and his family.
