Bollywood is immersed in Durga Puja festivities. On Maha Ashtami, many Bollywood celebrities turned up at the pandal in Juhu in Mumbai, which includes names like Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and Ayan Mukerji. They were seen mingling with their family and friends and seeking goddess Durga’s blessings.

Bollywood gathers for Durga Puja celebrations

Apart from Rani Mukerji and Jaya Bachchan, many other popular faces from Bollywood were spotted at the Durga Puja pandal in Juhu. Cousins Rani and Kajol posed for pictures together. Jaya was seen posing with all the celebs with Goddess Durga’s idol. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor accompanied his friend Ayan Mukerji. Later they were joined by Mouni Roy.

Jaya Bachchan Hugs Rani Mukerji

Jaya Bachchan visited the Durga Puja pandal in Juhu, Mumbai on October 3, where she met many other Bengali Bollywood celebrities, including Rani Mukerji and Kajol. She was seen hugging Rani. She later posed for a group photo with Rani, Kajol and others from ther Mukerji clan.

Kajol celebrated Ashtami with the whole family in the pandal

Kajol celebrated Ashtami eve on Sunday with her family and friends at North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga puja pandal. The actress has shared a video clip on Instagram where she is seen helping her son Yug Devgan serve bhog to the devotees. Director Ayan Mukerji and Rani Mukerji were also seen attending the Durga Puja festivities.

What Nyrraa M Banerji Said About Durga Pooja

Talking about the celebrations, actress Nyrraa M Banerji says, “Durga Puja is the best festival for us, we Bengalis actually wait for this festival. It’s a celebration of goddess Durga’s victory over the demon king Mahishasura. Memories are plenty, but one that is still very much there is eating bhog at the pandals. My favorite is khichdi and mixed vegetables.”
