Elvish Yadav asserted that he was not paid $25,000 for winning Bigg Boss OTT 2. By becoming the first wild card contestant to win the programme, he had made history.
YouTuber Elvish Yadav won the Bigg Boss OTT 2 championship more than a month ago by defeating Abhishek Malhan. Elvish disclosed that he had not yet gotten the cash award of $25,000 that he was supposed to get for winning the Salman Khan-hosted competition in a recent interview with Shehnaaz Gill on the show Desi Vibes.
Elvish not receiving a prize prompts Shehnaaz to respond
Elvish was carrying two phones when Shehnaaz Gill asked him on a recent episode of her chat programme when he planned to purchase his third phone. Elvish then told her that he had three phones already. The following question from Shenaaz was, “When are you buying the fourth one?”
Elvish had said, “Chautha bhi lenge jab Bigg Boss vaale 25 lakh bhej denge ((I will buy the fourth one as well, when the Bigg Boss producers will send me 25 lakh),” to which Elvish had returned. Shehnaaz was shocked by his assertions that he had not yet received his winnings and responded, “This is wrong.”
The second season of Bigg Boss OTT debuted in June, with Pooja Bhatt, Jad Hadid, Avinash Sachdeva, Falak Naaz, Palak Purswani, Puneet Kumar, Aaliyah Siddiqui, and Cyrus Broacha among the participants. Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav had entered as wild cards.
On August 14, Elvish made history as he became the first wild card contender to win Bigg Boss OTT. Despite his late entry into the competition, he was able to surpass fellow YouTuber Abhishek Malhan and win the prize thanks to his popularity. Aside from receiving cash and the Bigg Boss OTT trophy, the victor was apparently also promised free food for the rest of their lives.
After winning the reality competition, Elvish claimed that he received about 280 million votes in the final 15 minutes, which may have contributed to his victory. Elvish informed his fans in a video clip from a hotel room that a JioCinema employee said he received “28 crore votes in just 15 minutes” shortly after the winner was announced.

After the finale, I went inside and the show’s executive producer asked me, “Do you know how many votes you received in 15 minutes?” Maine poocha kitne, toh unhone kaha “280 million” I received 280 million when I inquired about the quantity.
