ISC 2023 results: A total of five students scored 99.75 percent or higher on the class 12 exams.

Manya Gupta, who won the CISCE class 12 exam, credited her school for her success and recalled how it continued to support the students during the pandemic-induced lockdown that had abruptly forced the educational institutions to adapt to an online learning environment. According to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) secretary Gerry Arathoon, Manya is one of the five pupils who shared the top rank with 99.75 percent on Sunday as the results for classes 10 and 12 were released.

In an interview with news agency ANI, Manya, a student at Kolkata’s Heritage School, said, “My school was a big assistance…They helped us in each way they could while we were under lockdown, giving us extra classes and support.My tutoring also really assisted; all in all, a fantastic support system.

Manya added that she did not anticipate leading the nation. “I had no idea that I would beat India…I learned about it for the first time from my friends, who informed me that I actually finished first in India, she continued.

She admitted that she had not developed a very well-thought-out study plan when questioned about her preparations. “I don’t tend to study every day…primarily during the exam periodI was staying up all night.I didn’t have a sleep pattern then,” she admitted.

Manya wants to continue her studies in psychology. She claimed that in order to fulfill her lifelong desire, she has been applying to colleges in both India and overseas. According to the school board, 96.93% of Class 12 pupils and 98.94% of Class 10 students respectively passed their exams. Apart from Manya, class 12 winners included Riya Aggarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharya, Mohd Aryaan Tariq, and Subham Kumar Agarwal. In class 10, the top spot was shared by nine students who earned 99.80% of the possible points.
