It’s time to pack your bags and head back to the fantasy land of Pandora.
Avatar: The Way of Water, the long-awaited sequel to James Cameron’s blockbuster Avatar, is inching closer to the big screen, but also to say moviegoers are enthusiastic is an understatement.
It has been nearly 13 years since James Cameron released the first Avatar movie and made the biggest movie of all time. He has spent much of the last decade developing plans for the franchise’s future, which include four sequels, two of which are already completely filmed.
The first of Avatar’s four sequels arrive later this year, as Avatar: ‘The Way of Water debuts in December in theaters. The movie puts James Cameron back behind the camera and includes the returns of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang.
