Starting with his modelling career
Sidharth’s modeling career started when he participated in Gladrags Manhunt and Mega model Contest in 2004 and was announced as the runner-up of the same. He then participated in World’s Best Model contest held in Turkey and became the first Indian and first Asian to win it. Following his grand win after beating 40 contestants across the world, he appeared in various advertisements.
Stepping into showbiz
Well known for his role as Shiv in Balika Vadhu, the actor made his television debut as a lead actor in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He became a popular face on TV soon and there was no going back for him ever since. He featured in various TV shows including Dil Se Dil Tak, Love U Zindagi, Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi and others. However, his claim to fame was Balika Vadhu wherein he played Shiv opposite Pratyusha Banerjee and Toral Rasputra.
Bollywood debute
After gaining massive popularity in the TV industry, Sidharth made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar produced Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. He played a supporting role in the film and was awarded the ‘Breakthrough Supporting Performance (Male)’ by a popular side.
Bigg-Boss journey
Sidharth Shukla became a heartthrob of every youngster with his Bigg Boss 13 stint. He was the trophy holder of the season and rose to immense fame and popularity as a result. However, this was not the first time that he appeared in a reality TV show. Sidharth also won the Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 in 2016. Soon after this, he hosted India’s Got Talent with ace comedian Bharti Singh.
